Driver Slams into Utility Pole in Huston Township

car-accident-graphic-5254_jpg_475x310_q85-300x225HUSTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police say around 2:50 p.m. on November 26, a one-car accident occurred on Woodward Road, north of the intersection of Bennetts Valley Highway and Mountain Run Road, in Huston Township, Clearfield County.

According to police, 37-year-old John F. Sehring, III, of Sykesville, was traveling east on Woodward Road, became distracted, and drove off the right side of the roadway. The right side of his 2000 Chevrolet Impala struck a utility pole, damaging the pole and disabling the car.

Sehring and two juvenile male passengers – ages 6 and 1 – were using seat belts and were not injured.

Zimmerman Towing towed the car from the scene.

Sehring was charged with a traffic violation.
