YOUNG TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police have released details surrounding a March 12 crash in Punxsutawney, Jefferson County.
Punxsutawney-based State Police say the accident happened around 11:20 p.m. when a known driver swerved to avoid an oncoming car while negotiating a turn on South Main Street Extension near Sportsburg Road.
Police say the driver swerved to the right to avoid the vehicle and subsequently drove over an embankment.
No injuries were reported.
Police did not release the name of the driver.
No charges were filed.
