State Police Calls: Drug-Related DUI, Bike Stolen in Young Twp.

State Police patchPunxsutawney-based State Police have released information surrounding two recent incidents in Jefferson County.

Young Township DUI, Drug Arrest

On June 4 around 12:58 p.m., Punxsutawney-based State Police conducted a traffic stop in which Eric B. Kause, of Clymer, was suspected of driving under the influence of marijuana.

Kause was also allegedly in possession of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana. Charges will be filed pending the return of blood results, according to police.

Bike Stolen in Young Twp.

Punxsutawney-based State Police say someone stole a Road Master bicycle from a location near the intersection of State Route 436 and State Route 119 on June 3.

The victim is listed as a Rochester Mills man.
