Drunk Man Arrested for Causing Disturbance in Brookville

brookville-policeBROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Police say a Punxsutawney man was charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct following an incident that occurred on Euclid Avenue, in Brookville, Jefferson County.

Around 4:20 a.m. on November 21, Brookville Borough Police were dispatched to Euclid Avenue for a report of a male knocking on the caller’s door.

Upon arriving, police observed a white male standing in front of the residence. After speaking with him, police determined that the male was knocking on the door and even threw a garbage can belonging to the caller off a porch, according to police.

The known, 34-year-old Punxsutawney man was intoxicated and believed that he was knocking on doors at a local motel, police say.

Police transported him to his room at the motel.

He was charged with Public Drunkenness and Disorderly Conduct.

The name of the suspect was not released.
