DuBois House Fire Leaves $60,000 in Damages

Red FiretruckDUBOIS, Pa. (EYT) – Police are investigating a fire that took place at 16 Arminta Street in DuBois, Clearfield County.

Chief William Boyle of the DuBois Fire Department requested an investigation into the origin and cause of a fire that damaged a two-story home on Arminta Street.

Police say the fire originated in a second floor bedroom around 8:20 p.m.

The exact cause could not be determined.

The family was home at the time of the fire, however no one was injured.

One family dog died as a result of the fire.

The damage to the home is estimated at $60,000.
