DuBois Man Injured in Rollover Crash

car-accident-graphic-5254_jpg_475x310_q85-300x225BRADY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on DuBois Rockton Road in Brady Township, Clearfield County.

Police say this crash occurred at 8:15 a.m. December 9, as 83-year-old John Yebernetsky, of DuBois, was traveling southbound in a 2004 Ford Ranger.

The vehicle hit a patch of ice on the roadway causing Yebernetsky to lose control of the rear of his vehicle.

The vehicle began to spin in a counter-clockwise rotation. The rear tires hit gravel on the shoulder, causing the vehicle to overturn.

Yebernetsky’s vehicle rolled an unknown amount of times and came to final rest on its wheels in the ditch off the right side of the roadway.

Yebernetsky was wearing his seat belt but sustained minor injuries in the crash. He was transported to Penn Highlands DuBois by Brady Township Ambulance.

The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene by Mottman’s Towing.

Police were assisted on the scene by Brady Township Volunteer Fire Department, Union Township Volunteer Fire Department, Dusan Ambulance, and Brady Township Ambulance Service.
