Earl C. Covert, 93 of Punxsutawney, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
Mr. Covert was born October 15, 1921 in Angola, NY., a son of the late Edwin and Elizabeth (Angove) Covert.
He was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army.
Mr. Covert is preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Lula M. (Frederick) Covert.
He was a member of the Chestnut Grove Church. Mr. Covert is survived by one son; Gerald Covert and wife Mary, one daughter; Elizabeth Stewart and husband Terry
all of Punxsutawney, four grandchildren; Michelle White, Temple Atcheson, Keith Covert, Patrick
Covert,and six great grandchildren; Skylar, Dalton, Amber, Vivian, Ava and Liam.
In addition to his wife Lula, he is preceded in death by one grandson; Todd Covert and one sister; Norma Richardson.
At Mr. Covert’s request all arrangements are private.
