Rossetti was presented with her certificate from the National Board for Certification of School Nurses (NBCSN) by Forest Area superintendent Amanda Hetrick, who said Rossetti is the first school nurse/teacher in her time as the superintendent at Forest Area to earn national certification.

To earn the national certification, Rossetti had to pass the national exam, which was administered in Erie over the summer.

The national certification recognizes that Rossetti has met the highest standards for school nursing care and has been professionally recognized for her expertise in school nursing.

Nationally Certified School Nurses are current in their practice, methodologies and medications. They are required to renew their credential every five years to establish their expertise.
