Edith M. Woodrow

Edith M. Woodrow, age 87, of DuBois, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015 at DuBois Village.

She was born in Punxsutawney on November 19, 1927; daughter of the late Robert H. and Lossie (Smith) Sheesley.

Mrs. Woodrow worked at DRMC as a nutritional service worker until her retirement in 1990. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: a son, Lyle X. Woodrow, Jr. and his wife, Helen of DuBois; a daughter, Brenda Mullins and her husband, Charles of Arizona; a granddaughter, Linda Long, and her husband, Brad of Reynoldsville; a grandson, Brent Woodrow, and his wife, Karen of DuBois; four great-grandchildren, Drew and Dalton Woodrow, Katelyn and Alex Long; one sister, Ruth Rupert of Arizona; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lyle X. Woodrow, Sr., whom she married May 21, 1944; her sisters, Arlene Huller, Maxine Eckman, Betty Hill, Laura Lettie, and Mary Lou Lloyd; her brothers, Elmer Sheesley, Gifford Sheesley, and Wilbur Sheesley.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
