Elaine A. Renwick

Elaine A. Renwick age 87 a Crenshaw resident for many years, currently a resident at Highland View Health Care, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 at Highland View.

Before moving into Highland View, she had made her home with her granddaughter Michele Vogel for 12 years. Born in Helens Mills, PA on March 30, 1929; she was the daughter of the late John and Sara Hilliard Huffman.

Elaine was married to Joseph L. Renwick and he died in 1991. Retired, she had been employed in the Decorating Department at Brockway Glass for 35 years.

She was protestant by faith. Elaine was an animal lover, especially cats and dogs, and kept many of them as pets over the years. She always enjoyed just being at home spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Being with her family was the most important thing about her life.

Elaine is survived by 2 daughters: Marilyn Ivey of Charlotte, NC; Nancy (Mike) Baka of Brockway; 1 brother: Clyde “Butch” (Lucy) Huffman of Massillon, OH; 1 sister: Grace (Al) Kuzmik also of Massillon; 4 grandchildren: Michele (Jobe) Vogel, Kimberly Ivey DeLazier, Michael J. Baka and James (Amanda) Ivey. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband she is also preceded in death by 2 sisters: Helen (Waldo) Hicks, Alice “Jean” (James) Reilly and 2 brothers: Earl (Yvonne) and Clarence (Lenore) Huffman.

There will be no public visitation. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Dave Nagele officiating. Burial will follow in the Beechtree Cemetery.
