Eleanor C. Yount, age 94 of DuBois, PA died Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at the home of her daughter.
Born on March 25, 1927 in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Pard and Mary (Maxim) Gustinbell.
She married Emerson Yount, Jr. He preceded her in death on December 30, 1990.
Eleanor was a homemaker and she was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church where she was a member of the Rosary Infant of Prague Society and was always very active in church affairs.
Eleanor is survived by two daughters (Cindi Gordon and her husband Rick of DuBoistown, PA and Carole Yount of DuBois, PA), four grandchildren (Nikki Johnson and her husband Brock, Jennie Hoskavich & Emery Wykoff and Chris and Jessica Hoskavich), one great grandchild (Ashlynn Johnson) and one brother (Robert Gustinbell of DuBois, PA).
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter (Mary Cheryl Yount), infant great grandson (Michael Hoskavich), one sister (Madeline Krasinski) and son in law (Michael “Mule” Fuller).
There will be no public visitation.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 10 AM from St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Msgr. Richard Siefer as celebrant.
Burial will follow in St. Marys Catholic Cemetery in Reynoldsville, PA.
The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
