ella kay bullersElla Kay Bullers, age 85, a lifelong resident of Brookville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at Christ the King Manor in Dubois, PA, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease and leukemia.

She was born on October 12, 1930, to the late Orville I. and Gladys (Shirey) Procious, of Edgewood Dairy in Brookville, PA. After High School, Ella joined the Brookville Telephone Company as an operator. In the early 1950’s she worked as a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines.

Ella married Amor “Don” Bullers in 1955, in Reynoldsville, PA. Most of their years together were spent at Edgewood Dairy. Throughout her life, Ella was active in the First United Methodist Church of Brookville, PA, as well as many clubs. She loved to travel and was an avid reader.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by, 1 son Brian (Claudia) Bullers; 3 daughters Belinda Bullers, Beth Bullers, and Peg (Nish Shah) Bullers; 1 brother, Perry R. Procious; 8 grandchildren, Alana (David)Joyner, Kate Bullers, Donald (Bethany) Bullers, Alicia (Ryan) Bish, Shirey Seigworth, Hannah Seigworth, Mosi Bullers-Shah, and Willa Bullers-Shah; 2 great-grandchildren Jack Bullers and Will Joyner. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by, 1 sister, Anna Claire Procious.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, April 16, 2016, from 5-7pm, for a memorial visitation, at the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main St., Brookville PA, 15825.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Rebecca M. Arthurs Library, 223 Valley St., Brookville PA, 15825, or to the YMCA, 125 Main St., Brookville PA, 15825.
