Ellen L. Bowser, 76 of Mahaffey, passed away Monday, September 14, 2015 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Mrs. Bowser was born December 14, 1938 in Kittanning, a daughter of the late Cleatis R. and Emma B. (Harris) Bowser.
Ellen is survived by her husband Edwin R. Bowser of Mahaffey.
She loved to cook and work in her garden.
In addition to her husband Edwin, she is survived by her sons; Bradley Scott Bowser and Tonya Harlkeroad of Punxsutawney, James Richard Bowser and wife Brenda of California, brother’s; Ralph Bowser of Florida, Terry Bowser and Gilbert Bowser all of Punxsutawney and her sister; Darlene Aldridge of FL., grandchildren; Amber Lynn Bowser, Scott Michael Bowser, Jason Cole and great-grandchild; Madison Bowser.
She is preceded in death by her daughter’s; Stacey Lynn and Connie Jo.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Thursday at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Price officiating.
Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
