Elmer C. Shephard

Elmer C. Shephard, 87, DuBois, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 following a stroke.

Born December 1, 1933, in Glen Campbell, he was the son of the late William and Viola (Wassam) Shephard.

On June 16, 1957, he married Lucrisha Hutchins who passed away on September 18, 2020.

Elmer worked for A&P, Brockway Ford, and as a driver for many area car dealerships.

Elmer was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Elmer enjoyed attending Bible study and watching his favorite ball teams, the Steelers and Pirates. He enjoyed visiting with friends and family.

Elmer is survived by a son, Ronald (Amy) Shephard, grandchildren, Amber and Noah, two great-granddaughters, as well as many nephews and nieces who will miss him dearly.

In addition to his wife and parents, Elmer was preceded in death by a son, Robert, sisters, Betty Kromer, Martha Johnson, Freda Marie Hutchins, Annabell Rinehart, and

    Edith Neuhard, and his brother, Earl. He was the last surviving sibling from his immediate family.

    Friends and family will be received Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 2-3 p.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.

    Following the visitation, a funeral will be held at 3 p.m. from the funeral chapel with Rev. David Nagele officiating.

    Military honors will be accorded by the DuBois Area Honor Guard.

    Burial will be in Mountain Cemetery, Brockport, PA.
