Elvin Roy (Bye) Wachob passed away on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, in Punxsutawney.
Born June 20, 1924, he was the son of Harry and Edith (McClure) Wachob.
He was a 1942 graduate of Big Run High School.
He is survived by his former wife, Mary (Kerr) Wachob of Punxsutawney, and their children, sons Louis of Cincinnati, Ohio, Gregory (Joanne) of DuBois and Kevin (Pam) of Big Run and daughters Elizabeth (Russell) Kennedy of Worthville and Sylvia (Joe) Kalynchuk of Troutville.
He is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jerry (Miriam) Wachob of Ephrata.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma (McCully) Wachob; two brothers, Harry and Ronald; and three sisters, Gertrude Soliday, Loretta Fetterman and Miriam Haag.
There will no viewing.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 15, 2015, at Chestnut Grove Independent Church, 342 Lipp Rd., Punxsutawney, officiated by Pastor Joseph Spack.
