Ervin Lawrence Huffman, 75, of Yount Rd. Summerville, Pa., passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013, at home.
Born on April 29, 1938, at Mudlic, Pa., he was the son of Ervin Reed Huffman and Christina M. Smith Huffman.
On August 10, 1960, in Summerville, Pa., Ervin married Doris Elizabeth Beck, who survives.
He worked for Hanley Brick Co. in Summerville and later as a mechanic for Owens-Illinois in Brookville, Pa.
He enjoyed woodworking, painting, and making stained glass. He especially loved his family.
In addition to his wife, Ervin is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Huffman (Rose) of Corsica, Pa., and Robbie Huffman (Michelle) of Connoquensing, Pa.; and two brothers, John Huffman of Meadville, Pa. and Bob Huffman of Brookville, Pa.
He is also survived by three grandchildren, Seth Robert Huffman (Beth), Justin Huffman, and Jacob Huffman, and one great-grandchild, Anna Beth Huffman.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters,Shirley Collins and Mildred Holben.
Visitation Hours are on Monday, July 29, 2013,at 1 PM to 4 PM at McKinney Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825.
Funeral services are at 4:00 PM on Monday, July 29, 2013, at McKinney Funeral Home with The Rev. James Dietrich officiating.
Interment will be at Carrier Cemetery in Clover Twp., Jefferson Co., Pa.
