Eugene X. Pappert, age 83, of Treasure Lake, DuBois, PA died on Friday, October 6, 2017, at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Mercy Hospital.
Born on February 16, 1934, in Pittsburgh, PA he was the son of the late Peter and Rose Marie (Moss) Pappert.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. After his active duty, he served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves for 25 years obtaining the rank of Colonel.
On November 9, 1963, he married Regina (Boyle) Pappert. She survives.
He was the owner and President of DCS Inc. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church.
Eugene is survived by two daughters (Michele Lampenfield of Pittsburgh, PA and Pamela Wolcott of Lowman, NY); two brothers (Jerry W. Pappert of Peters Township, PA and Marshall L.Pappert of Las Vegas, NV) and three grandchildren (Richard J.; Jacob J; and Joshua P. Lampenfield).
There will be no public visitation.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at the convenience of the family.
Memorials may be placed with the charity of the donor’s choice.
