Cook Forest – Snowman in the Forest

Cook Forest Vacation Bureau will host a “Snowman in the Forest” event from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on February 21, 2015 in Cooksburg, Clarion County.
The event will include a snowman building contest, a chili cook-off, sledding, face painting, a guided hike, and more.
To participate in the snowman building contest, build a snowman in any designated sponsor’s location in the Cook Forest/Clear Creek area, beginning with the first snowfall of the season and ending with the last snowfall in February.
Have the sponsor take a picture of the participant and snowman and it will be entered in the contest and displayed on the website at www.cookforest.org.
Participating sponsors include: Campers Paradise, Cherry Run Cabins, Cook Riverside Cabins, Evergreen Cabins, Fairwinds in the Forest, Forest Ridge Cabins, Gateway Lodge, Hominy Ridge Lodge & Cabins, Kellywood Cabins, Knotty Pines, Shiloh Resort, The Inn at Cook Forest, Trails End, Top Hill Cabins, White’s Haven Campground.

– Happy Dog Contest
– Guided hike within the old growth forest on Cook Trail

– Door Prize Awards.
