Everett William Gustafson

Everett GustafsonEverett William Gustafson went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 2, 2017 at the age of 85.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther, and was the son of the late William and Ida Mae Gustafson.

He was born in Crenshaw, Pennsylvania and lived in the Brockway area most of his life.

He worked as a milkman for several years and at Brockway Glass.

He and Esther were one of the founding families and members of the Brockway Christian & Missionary Alliance Church.

Everett’s life was an example of provision, dedication and caring to all his family and he was friendly to everyone he met.

His word could always be counted on and kind and gentle were his ways.

He had a wit and humor and a way with words which will be missed.

He was faithful to his Lord and walked humbly before Him all his days. He was a good father to his children.

Everett is survived by his daughters, Susan Mae Waldorf and Cheryl Anne Brown. A son, David John Gustafson preceded him in death.

He has nine grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Friday March 10th from 11 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon also at the Funeral Home with Reverend Thomas Henretty officiating.

Burial will be in the Wildwood Cemetery in Brockway.

A reception at the Brockway Christian & Missionary Alliance Church will follow the funeral service.
