exploreJefferson will provide free up-to-the-minute news, obituaries, police and fire calls, classifieds, weather, and much more to the residents of Jefferson County, Pennsylvania.
“Our sites have seen great success in Clarion and Venango Counties”, said Joanne Bauer, Director of Marketing/VP of EYT. “We are confident we wil see the same success in Jefferson County.”
Since launching, exploreClarion.com and exploreVenango.com have become the most visited local news websites in their respective counties, accumulating over 1.2 million combined pageviews per month.
EYT also recently launched 814Classifieds.com, a local marketplace for the community to buy, sell, and trade within the 814 area code.
The company has set August 7, 2014, as a tentative launch date for exploreJefferson.
EYT is attempting to acquire exploreJefferson.com, which is currently a registered domain name.
Viewers will also be able to access the site by visiting exploreJeff.com.
In the meantime, EYT will continue to post select Jefferson County news items on exploreClarion.com and on their Facebook page at Facebook.com/exploreJefferson.
