F. Gary Seeley

F. Gary Seeley died on March 30, 2021, after an acute stroke at age 76.

He was born on Jan. 8, 1945, in Punxsutawney, something he was very proud of. He was a registered nurse who served in Vietnam and became a certified registered nurse anesthetist, and was the director of the Pennsylvania Hospital School of Anesthesia. He worked at Pennsylvania Hospital, among other nursing positions in Philadelphia.

Gary was an avid fan of the Phillies and Eagles. His interests also included a love for photography, cooking, reading and an appreciation for a wide range of music and watching movies, as well as traveling.
He was predeceased by his parents, Francis S. Seeley and AnnaBelle Neal Seeley, and siblings Joan Seeley Weaver, Daniel Seeley and Connie Seeley Penne.

He is survived by his sister, Deborah Seeley Beatty; his nieces and nephews, Jonah Penne, Luke Penne, Brooke Penne, Bethany Beatty, Courtney Beatty, Dustin Beatty and Douglas Seeley; and cousin Kay Atcheson, as well as his close friends Andrew Stiller, Cynthia Stark and Deborah Mayer, among many others.
