Fairmount City Woman Wins American Legion Riders 2019 Harley Davidson Give Away Event

CLARION CO., Pa. – The American Legion Riders Post 66 of Clarion held their 8th Annual Harley Davidson ‘Fat Boy’ give away on September 8, at the Antler Club in Lucinda.

There are only 325 tickets sold for the reverse drawing event, and the lucky holder of that 325th ticket drawn was Lori Mathieson. of Fairmount City. Her grand prize was a 2019 Harley Davidson Sport Glide motorcycle.

The holder of the 324th ticket drawn was given a free ticket for next year’s drawing.

A mini bike was also raffled and many cash prizes won during the event, as well.

The proceeds from this event help local veterans and/or families of veterans.

The American Legion Riders would like to thank everyone who contributed to making this year’s event a great success. They couldn’t do it without the community’s support.

Organized in 2010, the American Legion Riders Post 66 of Clarion is a non-profit chapter that is associated with the American Legion Post #66 in Clarion. Their mission is to give back to those veterans, and/or their families, who need a helping hand and to say “Thank You” for their service to our country.

The Clarion Chapter is only one of more than a thousand chapters that share a common goal of helping others in the “Spirit of the Ride.” Their current roster is 23 members and growing. They welcome new members who have the same enthusiasm for helping others and enjoy riding motorcycles.
