Falls Creek Woman Accused of Felony Theft

PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – A Falls Creek woman has been accused of felony theft charges stemming from an incident that occurred in the Borough of Punxsutawney, Jefferson County.

According to court documents, on November 18, Officer Zeitler, of Punxsutawney Borough Police Department, filed a criminal complaint against 40-year-old Christina M. Pierce, of Falls Creek, Pa., for third-degree felony theft offenses.

Court documents indicate the case stems from an incident that allegedly occurred on February 23, 2015, in Punxsutawney Borough.

Pierce faces the following charges:

  • Theft by Failure To Make Required Disposition of Funds, Felony 3
  • Receiving Stolen Property, Felony 3

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on January 6, 2015, in front of Magisterial District Judge Douglas Robert Chambers.
