Father Accused of Burning 4-Year-Old With Cigarette

GLEN CAMPBELL BOROUGH, Pa. – State Police in Punxsutawney have initiated an investigation after a father allegedly burned a toddler with a cigarette.

In a release issued Tuesday evening, Trooper Fulmer said he received a report detailing the alleged child abuse on July 15.

Trooper Fulmer said the incident is alleged to have occurred on July 12 around 2:00 p.m. at 69 Glenwood Avenue in Glen Campbell Borough, Indiana County.

According to the report, the father allegedly burned his 4-year-old child with a cigarette and smacked his buttocks.

The man’s name has not yet been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
