NORTH MAHONING TWP., Indiana Co., Pa. (EYT) — A domestic situation led to charges being filed against a DuBois man and a Punxsutawney woman.
Punxsutawney-based State Police responded to a residence on Smith Road in Mahoning Township, Indiana County at 9:15 p.m., Sunday, July 30.
An argument began when a 26-year-old DuBois man attempted to drive a vehicle owned by a 28-year-old Punxsy woman. She would not allow him to drive because his license is suspended.
Police said the man then threw the woman’s car keys into a wooded area and she then struck him in the back of the head and broke a chain he was wearing.
Both were charged with harassment in district court.
Police did not release the identities of those involved in the incident.
