Fire Marshal Rules Farmington Twp. Fire Accidental

FARMINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal’s Unit has ruled a Saturday afternoon structure fire in the Scotch Hill area as accidental.

According to Clarion County 9-1-1, the call came in around 3:42 p.m. for a fully-engulfed structure fire along Valley Drive in Farmington Township, Clarion County.

Farmington Twp. Volunteer Fire Company, Washington Twp. Volunteer Fire Department, Marienville Volunteer Fire Department, Sigel Volunteer Fire Department, and Clarion Hospital Ambulance were dispatched to the scene.

The scene was cleared at 7:04 p.m.

Fire Marshal Russell D. Stewart said the fire has been ruled accidental. The cause of the fire was not released.

The property, owned by 81-year-old Richard McClellan of Allegheny County, was not insured.

No injuries were reported.
