Florence Snyder Brehm, 89, of Brookville, died on Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at Jefferson Manor in Brookville.
Born July 4, 1925 in Emerickvile, Pa., Florence was the daughter of Lee H. Snyder and Zella Sprankle Snyder.
Florence graduated from the Brookville Area High School in 1943. She was also a member of the Roseville Independent Chapel in Brookville, Pa.
Along with her former husband Don, she was the owner and operator of Don’s Dairy in Clarion from 1958 to 1971. Following that, Florence had many joy filled years as a teacher’s aid with special needs children at Clarion Elementary School.
Florence is survived by a son, Steven Brehm (Rhonda), of Tigard, OR, four brothers, Donald Snyder of Silverdale, WA, Harold Snyder (Shirley) of Star Valley, AZ, John “Jack” Snyder (Joan) of Charlottesville, VA, Kenneth Snyder (Mary) of Brookville, Pa, and a sister, Alice June Baughman, of Brookville, Pa. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Gregory, of Portland, Justin (Cindy), of Aloha, OR, Andrea (Joshua) of St. Paul, MN, Dylan, of Tigard, OR, and two great-grandchildren, Creighton and Owen, of Aloha, OR.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 27 at 11 a.m. at the Roseville Independent Chapel in Brookville, Pa, Pastor Jim Fillhart, officiating.
Interment will be at the Jefferson Cemetery in Clover Township, Jefferson County.
