West Forest High School Holds 59th Annual National Honor Society Induction Ceremony

TIONESTA, Pa. – West Forest High School held its 59th Annual Induction Ceremony of the Harold Seigworth Chapter of the National Honor Society.

The ceremony was held on May 17 to recognize the members of the National Honor Society and their accomplishments.

Five new members were inducted into the prestigious organization at this ceremony (pictured above): Jennifer Lander, TJ Kunselman, Morgan Miller, Noah Burke, and Belle Ralston.

In addition, the ceremony recognized the probationary members of the organization, Kathryn Johnston, Maylynn Mlakar, Hunter Turba, Jessica Wagner, and Anna Culver.

Two current senior members were also recognized during the ceremony, President Travis Swartz and Vice-President Christopher Pedersen

All members of this organization have met high standards of character, scholarship, leadership, and service.

As part of the service requirements, these students participate in two annual chapter service projects. The first is hosting a school-wide blood drive through the Red Cross. The second is an Adopt-A-Highway Litter Pick Up project. Each member is also required to participate in another self-chosen service project.
