FOREST COUNTY, Pa. – On Wednesday, April 8, five students traveled to Penn State DuBois to attend workshops on occupational therapy, physical therapy, and engineering.
Wyatt Turba, Mariel Hanely, Chloe Saxton, Morgan Silvis, and Christopher Pedersen – along with students from other schools in the area – had the opportunity to do hands on activities in those career fields.
The students also had the opportunity to see a 3-D printer in action. As well as this, they were able to measure their joint angles and see how electric stimulation can increase muscle activity.
