Frances A. Wasicki, 91 of Rossiter, passed away Tuesday September 23, 2014 in Rossiter surrounded by her
loving family.
Mrs. Wasicki was born June 8, 1923 in Rossiter, the only child of the late Thomas and Mary
(Pollock) Hutchinson.
She was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi. Her loves were her family, her
grandchildren and crocheting. Frances was a member of the Buffalo Lodge Am Vets, the American Legion
in Rossiter.
She is survived by twelve children; Jim Wasicki and wife Shirley, Rosemary Sviontek and
husband Mike, Bernice “Benji” Stellabuto and husband Jim, Michael Wasicki and wife JoAnn, Regina
“Genie” Zinzella, Joe Wasicki and wife Peg, Edward Wasicki and wife Heidi, Dave Wasicki and wife Boby,
Butch Wasicki and wife Connie, Margie McFarland, Dick Wasicki and wife Sally, Michelle Burkett, 29
grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by a son in
law; Paul Zinzella.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Thursday, September 26, 2014 at the
McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
A Catholic Burial Service will be held at 11 am Friday at the
funeral home with Fr. Ted Rematt as Celebrant.
Private interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Rossiter.
