Frances M. Hand, age 85 of DuBois, PA, died Sunday, June 13, 2021, at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born on September 22, 1935, in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Alice (Lewis) Leach.
Frances worked as an x-ray technician at the Maple Avenue Hospital and then as a dietary aide at the DuBois Nursing Home.
She is survived by 1 daughter (Denise Shaffer and her husband Kevin of DuBois, PA), and 3 sons (Steven Hand and his wife Renee, David Hand and his wife Teresa, and Bryan Hand all of DuBois, PA), 4 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 sister (Shirley Fideli of Altoona, PA).
She was preceded in death by 1 sister and 3 brothers.
There will be no public visitation.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021, at 12:00 PM from the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Pastor Terry Felt officiating.
Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.
