Frederick A. Dobson, 68, of Punxsutawney, died Sunday, December 13, 2020, at UMPC Altoona Hospital.
He was born May 6, 1952, a son of the late Anita (Mahan) and Kenneth Dobson.
On July 13, 1971, he married Carol L. (Gatti) Dobson, who survives.
Fred was a graduate of the Punxsutawney High School Class of 1970. He enjoyed working, his dogs Cindy and Cassie, and loved his Corvette. He worked in the mining industry as a mine foreman for around eighteen years and then started Dobson Trucking where he was the owner and operator for almost twenty-four years.
In addition to his wife Carol, surviving relatives include two children, daughter, Dawn Constantino and husband Michael and son, Charles Eberhart and wife Jennifer; seven grandchildren, Alex, Collin and Carter Eberhart, Logan and Aiden Constantino, and Caleb and Ava Bodenhorn; a brother, William Dobson and wife Phyllis; a sister, Kimberly Dobson; and four nephews, Ryan, Christopher, Alex, and Dillon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Brandy (Dobson) Bodenhorn.
Services will be held privately and are under the direction of the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Punxsutawney.
