Frost Advisory Issued for Clarion County, Surrounding Areas

CLARION, Pa. – The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a Frost Advisory for Clarion County and the surrounding areas.

The following urgent weather message was released by the National Weather Service at 1:52 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, 2013:

FROST ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 8 AM EDT MONDAY:

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PITTSBURGH HAS ISSUED A FROST ADVISORY…WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 8 AM EDT MONDAY. THE FREEZE WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* TEMPERATURES…IN THE MID 30S.
* TIMING…2 AM TO 8 AM
* IMPACTS…UNPROTECTED OUTDOOR PLANTS WOULD LIKELY BE DAMAGEDOR KILLED.
* IMPACTS…SENSITIVE PLANTS MAY BE DAMAGED.

A FROST ADVISORY MEANS THAT FROST IS POSSIBLE. SENSITIVE OUTDOOR PLANTS MAY BE KILLED IF LEFT UNCOVERED.
