CLEARFIELD, Pa. (GANT) – A Clearfield couple is facing charges for allegedly producing child pornography and sharing it through social media.

Jackson Curtis Martin III, 44, is charged by Sgt. Daniel Podliski with rape of child; statutory sexual assault-11 years older; aggravated indecent assault of child; dissemination photo/film of child sex acts (five counts); photograph/film/depict on computer sex act-knowingly or permitting child (three counts); child pornography (1,700 counts); sexual exploitation of children offense defined; indecent assault person less than 13 years (three counts); photograph/film/depict on computer sex act (148 counts); criminal use of communication facility (three counts) and endangering the welfare of children, all felonies.
Amanda Nichelle Downs, 28, is also charged with rape of child; statutory sexual assault-11 years older; aggravated indecent assault of child; photograph/film/depict on computer sex act (148 counts); dissemination photo/film of child sex acts; photograph/film/depict on computer sex act-knowingly or permitting child (three counts); child pornography (10 counts); sexual exploitation of children offense defined; indecent assault-person less than 13 years (three counts); criminal use of communication facility; and endangering the welfare of children, all felonies.
According to the affidavit of probable cause, in January, police were forwarded information from the Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Criminal Investigations, which received two Cyber Tipline Reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
The tips were originally made by Facebook regarding a photograph containing child pornography that was reportedly sent from Downs’ account to that of Martin on Nov. 18, 2018. He then reportedly sent the same photograph to another account.
On Jan. 8, police executed a search warrant on the defendants’ Zimmerman Avenue apartment in Clearfield Borough, seizing 23 items, including multiple electronic devices, sex-related devices, drug paraphernalia and a firearm.
On Nov. 21, Podliski received reports and forensic extractions from the PSP, Bureau of Criminal Investigations, Computer Crime Unit, for Downs’ LG cell phone and Martin’s Samsung tablet and cell phone.
On Downs’ phone, investigators allegedly found 10 videos/images depicting child pornography, including a video of Martin having sexual intercourse with a toddler.
On Martin’s electronic tablet, investigators allegedly found 430 images/videos and on his cell phone they found approximately 1,100 images/videos of Martin having sexual contact with a young girl.
Full extraction data uncovered numerous messages on Martin’s phone that were exchanged between Martin and Downs about the images, according to the affidavit.
On Oct. 30, state police investigators forwarded two additional Cyber Tipline reports from the NCMEC regarding an image shared from Martin’s Tumblr account. Conversations between Martin’s account and an unknown account were also provided by Tumblr.
In a message, Martin described a video, which allegedly depicted him having sexual relations with a minor and also stated he had intercourse with a 9-year-old and has arranged to be with a 7-year-old.
During conversations between Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, Martin sent several links to a video and or photographs of him having sex with a 4-year-old to the unknown account, police said.
Both Martin and Downs waived their rights to preliminary hearings Wednesday during centralized court at the Clearfield County Jail. Both are being held in county jail without bail.
