Garbage Bag Filled with Marijuana Plants Found in Winslow Township

WINSLOW TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police have opened an investigation after a garbage bag filled with marijuana plants was discovered in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.

The resident found the garbage bag along State Route 950 on May 12 and contacted Dubois-Based State Police after opening it and finding the marijuana plants.

Police say the marijuana plants have been placed into evidence.

The investigation is ongoing.
