PITTSBURG, Kan. – Senior wide receiver and First Team All-PSAC selection Kevin Genevro earned a spot on the 2016 Don Hansen NCAA Division II All-America Team today, landing on the Third Team after an electrifying final season in the Clarion Blue & Gold.

Genevro posted one of the best seasons in program history at the wide receiver position, finishing the year with team highs in catches (65), receiving yardage (1,096) and touchdowns (13), the last of which ranked as the best on the team at all positions. He became just the third player in program history to top 1,000 receiving yards in a season, and this year’s campaign ranks as the second-best in that regard. Genevro’s 13 touchdown receptions are tied for second for a single-season in program history, and he graduates from Clarion ranking near the top of the list in career receiving yards (9th) and receiving touchdowns (3rd).

Also an exceptional student, Genevro earned one of the most prestigious honors in the country earlier this year when he was named a First Team CoSIDA Academic All-American. He maintains a 4.00 GPA as a Business student at Clarion.
