George F. Klohr, Jr.

George F. Klohr, Jr., 57, of Punxsutawney passed away March 18, 2016 at his home in Punxsutawney.

Mr. Klohr was born May 5, 1958 in Rochester Mills, son of the late George F. Klohr Sr. and Nancy (Orcutt) Klohr.

Mr. Klohr was a man full of life, willing to help anyone who needed it. He was a member of the Punxsutawney Eagles Club. In his earlier years, George worked at Kiebler Farms as a truck driver and Hetager Drilling. George also enjoyed hunting every chance he could.

He is survived by a daughter, Ashley N. Klohr of Punxsutawney; a nephew, Daniel S. Tyger and wife Zita M. Tyger of Indiana; a niece, Jessica L. Hennessey and husband Ryan A. of Pensacola, Florida; three great nephews, Jace Hennessey, Zachary Carter, and Canyon Tyger; and a great niece, Brooke Hennessey.

He was preceeded in death by his mother in 1982; his father in 2005; his sister, Sandra K. Tyger in 2013; brother William (Yank) L. Klohr in 2014; and sister Linda D. Klohr in 2015.

In keeping with the wishes of Mr. Klohr, there will be no funeral services. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
