Gilda G. “Jill” Dunlap

Gilda G. “Jill” Dunlap, 90, of Derry, died peacefully Friday March 10, 2017 at her son’s home in Camp Hill. She was born January 2, 1927 in Homer City, a daughter of the late Peter S. and Mary Letitia Morrone Oliverio.

She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church of Derry and had worked as a registered nurse at Latrobe Hospital and Family Practice before her retirement.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas B. Dunlap, as well as siblings; Anthony, Jesse, Dominic, Joseph, Samuel, Teresa and Evelyn Oliverio.

Gilda is survived by her three children: William T. Dunlap (Mary), Patti A. Keefe (Andy) and Richard S. Dunlap (Pat). A sister Norma Oliverio, six grandchildren; Vanessa Bernarding (Kevin), Gregory Dunlap (Jessica), Stuart Keefe (Lauren), Lettie Keefe (Nathan), Blain and Mia Dunlap. Great grandchildren Alex and Bella Bernarding. Several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8pm in the McCabe Funeral Home, 300 W. Third Avenue, Derry.

A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday at 11am in the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church of Derry with the Reverend Father Stephen C. West as celebrant.

Entombment will follow in the Twin Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum.
