Glenn K Walters 2Glenn K. Walters, 81, of Marienville, PA, died on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Penn Highlands Hospital in Brookville, PA.

Glenn was born January 20, 1934, in Clarington, PA. He was the son of the late Fred and Alice (Dunkle) Walters.

Glenn attended school at Clarington, Marienville, and Titusville. He was a veteran serving with the US Army from 1951 to 1954. He worked at Owens Illinois Glass plant as a Hot End Operator until the plant closed. He also worked for HDI Marienville as a cabinet maker, at Abraxas in Marienville, and for the Forest Press in Tionesta. He was a member of VFW Post 8755 in Marienville. He was a Civil War and WWII Buff. He enjoyed hunting, old country music, and playing guitar, (“Pickin & Grinnin”). Glenn was of the protestant faith.

Glenn is survived by a daughter, Susan “Andrew” Oja of Lewistown, PA, a son, Thomas L. “Debby” Walters of Union, Ohio, a sister Lois Smith of Marienville, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Along with his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by two infant sons, Glenn and Richard, a brother Nathan, and sister Evelyn.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 10 – 11 am at Ronald McDonald Funeral Home, 140 Cherry St. Marienville, PA. Services will follow at 11 am with Rev. Boyd Edmondson officiating. Interment will take place in Clarington Methodist Cemetery in Forest County, PA.
