Glenn L.” Larry” Finley, 86, Treasure Lake, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023, at his residence.
He was born July 13, 1936 in Donora, PA, a son of the late William & Ruth (London) Finley.
He was married to Amadeus (Marchioni) Finley, who preceded him in death.
After graduating from Punxsutawney High School, he went on to college for two years before starting his job at Brockway Glass as an Electronic Engineer.
He served in the US Airforce from 1955 to 1959 as an Air Traffic Controller.
Glenn is survived by two sons William (Ruth Ann) Vizza and Michael (Carol) Vizza both of Reynoldsville, two sisters Nancy Finley and Salley (Thomas) Bowser both of Punxsutawney, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was always willing and available when some one needed help.
He enjoyed playing sports when he was younger and watching sports when he was older.
As a spiritual man he was very active in the congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses where he worshiped.
In addition to his parents and wife, Glenn was also preceded in death by a son Keven Finley and a brother Donald Finley.
At Glenn’s request there will be no funeral services.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Leo Nedza Funeral Home of DuBois.
