A funding round for Snowmobile and All-Terrain Vehicle Projects is open for application through the Northwest Regional Planning and Development Commission’s Greenways Block Grant (GBG) Program.
Applications are being accepted through 11:00 AM, March 23rd for eligible projects located within the northwest Pennsylvania Greenways Region of Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Forest, Lawrence, Mercer, Venango and Warren Counties.
Eligible applicants consist of state, county or municipal governments, municipal authorities, conservation district, prequalified land trusts, for profit organizations, higher education institutions, other educational institutions, non-profits with 501(c)3 IRS Status, non-profits with PA Bureau of Charitable Organizations status.
Projects are to assist with the planning, acquisition of land, construction, renovation and maintenance of areas and facilities for snowmobile and all terrain vehicle use; the purchase or lease of equipment for trail construction and maintenance; and the development of educational materials and programs.
