Harold F. Raybuck

Raybuck HaroldHarold F. Raybuck age 89 of Airport Road Reynoldsville, PA (Beechwoods) died on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

Born on August 2, 1926 in Beechwoods (Jefferson Co.) he was the son of the late Merle and Pearl Marshall Raybuck.

On June 16, 1950 he was married to Sara Miller and she survives. Retired, he was the self-employed owner of Raybuck Builders.

Harold was a U.S. Navy WW II veteran serving in the Seabee’s and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. He was a member of the Allens Mills United Methodist Church, Garfield Lodge # 559 F&AM Masonic Lodge in DuBois, PA; the Independent Order of Odd Fellows in Falls Creek, PA; and was a charter member of the Hormtown Rod and Gun Club. Harold enjoyed wood working, especially making knick knacks. He also enjoyed hunting and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirate and Steeler fan.

In addition to his wife he is also survived by a son Harry (Mary Ann) Raybuck of Beechwoods, a sister Mabel Cooper of Beechwoods, a brother Ronald (Mary Margaret) Raybuck also of Beechwoods and 2 grandsons Eric and Ryan Raybuck. He is preceded in death by a son Samuel Raybuck and a brother William Raybuck.

Calling hours will be on Friday, September 11 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday morning at 11:00 AM also at the funeral home with Pastor Don Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Beechwoods Cemetery. Full Military honors will be accorded on Saturday morning at the cemetery by Parson-Marnati Post #95 of the American Legion. Memorial donations may be made to the Allens Mills United Methodist Church.
