Harry D. Wachob

Wachob HarryHarry D. Wachob of Sodus, NY passed away on Monday, February 9, 2015 at the age of 86.

Harry was born on Saturday, April 7, 1928 the son of the late Mary (Parr) and Charles Wachob in Punxsutawney, PA.

Harry was predeceased by his wife Yvonne; siblings, Betty (Doug) Rogers, Fred (Virginia) Wachob, Susan (Tom) Collins, Ed (Thelma) Wachob and Kearney Wachob; and is survived by his brothers, Paul (Peg) and Max (Sandy) Wachob; sisters, Sally (Gene) Kunkle and Shirley (Robert) Humble; sister-in-law Joan Wachob; many nieces, nephews other family and friends.

Harry retired, after forty years of service, as Vice President of Lindsay Wire in Jackson, Mississippi.

He is remembered for his service to our country during the Korean Conflict as a member of the United States Army where he was part of the Military Police and the United States Constabulary Force.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the VFW, enjoyed NASCAR and had an interest in politics. His brothers and sisters recall Harry as a kind and gentle man. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

Services in Pennsylvania, with burial in Circle Hill Cemetery, will be held at a later date.
