Ed was born on January 17, 1933, in Fairmount City, PA, to the late Harry and Margaret (Servey) Neiswonger.

In 1955 Ed married Nancy (Hindman) Neiswonger, for over 61 years they have been an inseparable package, displaying easily their example of what a successful marriage looks like; Nancy survives him.

Ed served his country honorably when he enlisted in the United States Army, serving in the Korean Conflict and in Panama.

He enjoyed taking family trips to camp, or he would take his grandkids hunting.

He had the talent of being able work on and repair just about anything, and he loved to share this knowledge with his grandsons, helping to prepare them for self sufficiency in their own lives.

He labored diligently in his work and personal life as he created a reputation of having the willingness to help anyone who needed it; he would do anything for anybody. He also loved to mow grass, and he took joy in mowing his neighbor’s yards when he did his own.

Ed knew the importance of being a strong patriarch, an example of leadership who would help his next generation carry forward good standards and become productive members of the community.

His legacy lives on in the lives of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
