Harry M. Beck, 80, of Austin, PA, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2021, while a patient at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Harry was born on July 16, 1941, to the late Clarence and Helen (McGranor) Beck in Reynoldsville, PA.
He attended Reynoldsville High School.
Harry married Mary Elizabeth Heitzenrater on July 12, 1969, in Rockton, PA; Mary precedes him in death.
Harry was a hard worker, he worked in many different coal mines and for different logging companies.
Harry was a simple man who enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, and fishing.
He loved to take care of his lawn, garden, and be Mr. Fix-It.
Harry is survived by two daughters; Catherine (John) Berger and Karen Horner; and two brothers; Clyde (Mary) Beck and Jim (Carol) Beck.
In addition to his parents and wife, Harry is preceded in death by one brother; Ronald Beck; one sister; Shirley Mulhollan; one son-in-law; William “Bink” Horner; and one grandson; Douglas Horner.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, September 30, 2021, from 3pm – 7pm, at the Snyder – d’Argy Funeral Home, 206 E. Main St., Reynoldsville, PA 15851.
A funeral service will take place on Friday, October 1, 2021, also at the funeral home, beginning at 10am and will be officiated by Pastor David Nagele.
Final interment will take place at William-McFall Cemetery in Conrad, Wharton Twp., PA.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Reynoldsville Area Ambulance, 207 E. Main St., Reynoldsville, PA 15851.
