Healthy Meal Class Set for December 2 at Laurelbrooke Landing

15078988_1419255108092655_1291782112112077101_nBROOKVILLE, Pa. – The Laurels retirement community in Brookville is hosting its free quarterly educational program on “Healthy Meal Preparation” at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 2.

This session’s theme will be “Holiday Eating.”

After the presentation, guests will be treated to a sampling of light and healthy holiday appetizers.

The session will be held in the Hearth Dining Room at Laurelbrooke Landing at 133 Laurelbrooke Drive in Brookville.

The Laurels is a service-enriched residential living community located on the campus of Laurelbrooke Landing in Brookville. Residents pay an entrance fee to live there.

As a service-enriched community, Laurels residents are not responsible for lawn care, landscaping, snow removal or any home maintenance or repairs.

There are homes available now at The Laurels. Tours will be available after the “Healthy Meal Preparation” program.

The Laurels is a community of WRC Senior Services, which has been providing care and services for older adults in the area for over 125 years.
