Heavy Rain Causes One-Car Crash in Union Township

A moving ambulance on it''s way to a crash site.UNION TWP., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police say around 4:22 p.m. on May 15, a one-car accident occurred on Interstate 80 East, in Union Township, Clearfield County.

According to police, 21-year-old Jessica Czarkowski, of Bridgwater, NJ, was traveling east on I-80 and lost control of her 2005 Toyota Camry during a sudden heavy rain.

Clearfield Ambulance transported her to Clearfield Hospital for injuries of unknown severity.

She was using a seat belt.

Sandy Township Fire Department assisted at the scene.
