Heidi L. Horton, 37, of Kane, died Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh.
She was born July 23, 1977 in DuBois, the daughter of Doretta A. Potts.
She was Presbyterian by faith.
She graduated from DuBois Business College. She had been employed at Clarion Sintered Metals.
Heidi enjoyed scrapbooking, and wearing flip-flops year-round.
She is survived by her mother of Ridgway, twin daughters, Alena M. and Alexa E. Horton of Kane; her Godparents, Ginger and Cliff Hetrick of Brockway; and by the following aunts and uncles: John and Dotty Potts of Brockway, Ed and Sue Potts of Lake City, Barb Lovell of DuBois, and Tammy and George Simbeck of St. Marys, and by numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bernard and Hazel Potts Sr.; and by an uncle, Bernard Potts Jr.
Memorial services for Heidi L. Horton will be held in the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home, 130 Center St., Ridgway on Thursday, July 2 at 6 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Ron Burkett, pastor of the Hallton Church.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday for four hours prior to the service, 2-6 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family at Doretta Potts, 101 N. Mill St., Apt. 303, Ridgway, Pa. 15853.
