Helen E. Engle, 92, of Timblin, died Sunday, December 20, 2020, at Mahoning Riverside Manor.
She was born October 21, 1928, in Limestone Township, Clarion County, a daughter of the late Elva (Showers) and James Collett.
On May 25, 1951, she married Leo R. Engle in New Bethlehem. He preceded her in death on August 15, 1992.
She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital and a member of the St. Johns Reformed Church.
Surviving relatives include three children, daughter Debra Phillips and husband Paul of Timblin, daughter Lori Durante and husband Steve of Port Matilda, and son Jeffrey Engle of Timblin; five grandchildren, David Phillips of Punxsutawney, Eric Durante of Port Matilda, Caitlin Durante of Los Angeles, CA, Sara Durante of Warriors Mark, PA, and Benjamin Raybuck of Johnstown; two great-grandchildren, Cody and Nicole Phillips of Punxsutawney; and two sisters, Sally Collett of Apollo and Beatrice Snyder of Limestone Township.
There will be no viewing or services per Helen’s request.
Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Punxsutawney.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
