Helen Louise Hicks, age 88, a former Brockway resident, died on April 26, 2015 in California where she had made her home for the last eleven years.
Born in Shawmut, PA; on January 27, 1927, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Sarah Hilliard Huffman.
She was married to Waldo Hicks and he preceded her in death in 1997.
Helen was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Anthony) Hank of Temecula, CA; 3 Sisters: Jean Reilly of Brockway; Elaine Renwick of Brockport; Grace Kuzmik of Massillon, Ohio; 1 Brother: Clyde Huffman also of Massillon; 3 grandchildren, Diana, Matthew and Jonathan and 4 great grandchildren, Kevin, Sarah, Megan and Jarrod.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on June 8, 2015 at the Sykesville Cemetery with Rev. Terry Felt officiating.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
